# Directions:
01 - Place parchment paper or serving platter on work surface.
02 - Lay dried apricots in a horizontal row with slight overlap to create first band.
03 - Place smoked Gouda slices above apricot band, edges touching and overlapping slightly.
04 - Continue alternating apricot and smoked Gouda bands, reaching at least three layers each to build a sunset effect.
05 - Gently press layers to keep bands neat and aligned for presentation.
06 - Sprinkle chopped chives, toasted pumpkin seeds, and freshly ground black pepper if desired.
07 - Serve immediately using a sharp knife for clean slices or cocktail picks for easy handling.
